The entire eight car field wound up running in the fives and that's kind of a big deal for the nostalgia cars. Leong makes the
final adjustments for Capp and walks away. Uhhh...don't look at the lights here. Nothing to see, move along. Well, someone had to
win and Sanders runs quicker than he qualified and he puts Capp on the trailer.

4:36 p.m. We had to do a little bit of track prep after that last pair of 7.0 Pro cars but now the Plastic Fantastics come to
life. Bateman is living a dream this weekend driving one of the meanest Nitro Funny Cars in the business. Sanders is having a
weekend of his own in the 'Mr.Explosive' Nova. They stage here and at the flash of green both cars are still on the starting line.
They remembered green means go and then had themselves a neat drag race! Bateman came from behind for the win and a trip to the
final.
